“You never get a second chance to make a great first impression”
The moment they step into the property, buyers will decide on their new home in a matter of minutes. Purchasing one of their biggest assets is based on immediate feelings. First impressions are powerful and it is important for vendors and landlords not to miss this opportunity. Empty or unprepared properties often take longer to sell or rent than those which are presented in good order as most people cannot visualise their belongings in their new home. Sometimes, it can be as easy as defining a room, finishing those small jobs or organising a professional clean. My aim is not for you to spend a fortune on a property that is going to be sold or rented out, but to achieve the best possible value and working with what you already have.
After visiting and carrying out an initial consultation with you and carrying out an in-depth assessment of the property, I will produce a detailed report with comments on the current presentation, advice for improvements and an estimate complete with costs. As each property is unique, advice will also be given on any particular features that should be accentuated. When you are happy with our advice, I will source the items required and project manage the jobs to completion.
Other factors to consider include the selection of an appropriate estate agent who is active in your area, can efficiently sell or rent your type and size of property and produces professional photography. I can advise you of these agents if required.
